Stephan Abuzeide is a veteran of the United States Air Force, and that is where he began his career in IT. Over the next 20 years he honed his IT skills at companies like HP, Fiserv, and Nationwide, gained three degrees, and moved from IT hardware support to project management. Stephan has walked with Christ most of his life, and has always had a deep desire to counsel and encourage youth and young adults to grow in their faith.

In 2011, he went to Croatia and Slovenia to teach at youth camps. This is where his heart for international students began to grow. Although he always worked with college aged young adults, the focus was not international students. Over the next few years him and his family relocated to Columbus, Ohio, and served at a church plant for a few years before joining the church they are attending now. Since coming to this church, he learned about IFI and the work they are doing to assist international students, and felt a deep desire to join the work being accomplished in this student’s lives. In June he was laid off, and the door opened to join IFI as a Campus Minister Manager. He is very excited to join the team.
