Current Responsibilities

As the HR Coordinator, Kate assists the HR Manager in strategic planning initiatives, maintaining data integrity for staff information, managing recruiting tools, administering payroll and benefits, and hiring tasks. Her passion is to provide staff care to those who are ministering to internationals, and facilitate the hiring process of sending more workers into the harvest field.

Background

Kate attended The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio where she studied Chinese, Spanish, and French. While at Ohio State, she joined H2O Church where she has been volunteering in the international student ministry for the past 6 years. During this time, God has led Kate to experience a small piece of His own immense love for international students, and vision for His glory among the nations.

After graduation, Kate began to work in bilingual recruiting, and God opened a door in the HR department at IFI for her to merge recruiting experience with love for international students. Since then, she has played a key role in new initiatives relating to organizational growth, data management, and managing recruiting tools. Her next goal at IFI is to attain an HRACO SHRM-CP certification in order to better support ministry staff with all aspects of HR.
