And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. ~~~ Philippians 4:19
Whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive if you have faith. ~~~ Matthew 21:22
Recently, I have read lots of news about Covid-19 raging in China. Watching Chinese are suffering makes me feel really sad. As Christian, we need to love others when we are being loved.
I started to call my parents and friends to ask their spiritual, mental and life situations. Thanks for God! Through these conversations, I found our relationship hugely changed.
With my parents, we started to have more spiritual support than physical care. God is using this plague to open a door for me to have a conversation about Jesus. Thanks for God! He softened my parents’ heart to hear my sharing of God’s stories peacefully.
My parents were also very happy for me to pray for them.
With my friends, we changed to truly care about each other instead of making vulgar jokes. We started to encourage each other and talking about life.
Meanwhile, I would use this opportunity to tell them my Christian identity and try to say “I will pray for you”. They said I am different. I am no longer being impulsive; no longer with the bad temper; no longer being stubborn.
Yes! Thanks for the Lord! They saw my transform from God. I deeply felt being God’s witness. When people are facing suffering, death and struggling in this horrible plague, I believe God is showing His love in different ways among people.
God has His best plans!
Please pray with us for China! (My Bible Study group brothers and I are praying for China below)
Brother Terry,
My dear heavenly Father, thank you for letting us gather together to pray for our home country which is facing horrible disease recently. Father, we pray for our family, our doctors&nurses and all the people who are suffering pain and fear in China and all over the world. Please comfort them, release their pain and give them coverage and recovery. We all so pray for all the people fighting at the frontline against the virus, please keep them safe and give them strength. We also pray that new therapy or vaccine that is able to cure the disease efficiently will come up soon. Father we love you as you love us always, please show your mercy and glory down to us! In Jesus name, we pray. Amen!
Brother Jeremy,
Dear Lord, thank you for keeping me safe and sound at the moment, yet my home country now is suffering virus, deception, and hopelessness. Lord, I pray for my family and friends, no matter where they are, what they are going to do, protect and guide them to beat the virus so as to survive this dark period. I pray for people who are fighting for everyone’s wellness and health, pray that your mighty power could take down any barrier on their way. I pray for everyone‘s happiness and physical health, then everyone will witness your mercy and keep loving you like the way you love us. In Jesus name. Amen!
Brother Gavin,
Dear Father! Thank you so much for giving us this great opportunity to pray. As we know, the Covid-19 is raging the whole world. Firstly, We pray that you would let the governments make the right decisions which could please you. Secondly, please protect Christians from the virus and let them continue to be light and salt in the world and keep glorifying you without any influence. Finally, we know that all the sufferings we are experiencing are on your plans. They are your tests. I pray that you would help us to continue to serve you and be closer to you. We pray in your precious name, Amen!
