This past month my schedule was very busy with a lot of meetings, presentations, travels, research, study, reports. I started this month with a heavy and concerned heart for the challenges ahead. I lost my sleep several nights thinking about things I had to do. But the good news, here I am, after all those challenges, with a grateful heart for all that God has done for me!
As simple is it seems to be, relying on God was the key to succeed on all those activities. My daily prayers were that God would bless me, guide me, use me as His instrument among people, in my work or with my friends. My prayer was to have God at my side, and I could see it, on all the challenges I faced.
Even though I had a very tight schedule, God provided me with time to spend with my wife and friends, time to study His Word and time to spend with Him. In the midst of those crazy weeks God provided opportunities to be a blessing to other people and help other students with their daily struggles (give a ride to shopping and grocery store, help in moving to a new apartment, help organize a baby shower party, help to prepare dinner for our bible discussion group).
As we are learning in the ISEED training, letting Jesus live His life through me, and at the same time being an individual with my own and unique skills. I am letting the Lord use me with the skills He gave to me, and the result I am seeing, is a blessing being poured in my life and in others.
My faith in the Lord has increased as I have seen his faithfulness to me! He is always with me.
